Ernest Hemingway - American author (1899 –1961) Trust is such a basic prerequisite for any relationship: boyfriend/girlfriend, husband /wife, parent/child, as well as friendships. Inherent in the scope of trust there must exist a deep respect. You might think that the deep respect would be directed toward the other person. However, it is apparent that the deep respect must reside in the one extending the trust. To trust others one must first trust self. In other words, one must value their own integrity, character qualities as well as possess a strong confidence in ones self. What does your self-trust look like?
