Thought of the day; Today the military hearings continue, they were about twelve generals and only one of them was a women.One general representing each branch of the military. The hearing was not going well for them. their main argument was that a independent source being a civilian could not possibly do a good job when it came to military matters. Well the problem with that is that since 1991 more than 500,000 men and women in the military have been assaulted. I like to know what has the military brass been doing since that time. I guess they continue to sweep things under the rug. It is time to change the culture. To make matters worse for the military a republican congressmen by the name of Chammbliss went on the record saying quote the 17 thru 22 years old youth joining the military today have a high level of hormones that has created this matter witch sets in place the chances for these types of things to occur end quote. Well it comes to show that these republicans are out of touch. If he only knew that these acts are being commited by people in charge in the military. It is my hope that this committee findings come up with the right solutions to combat these assault against women and men in the military.
