Thought that I would put my little life saver in the photo contest. She showed up in my flower bed one morning shortly after I was diagnosed with cancer. My friend said you have a dog in your flower bed I told him to get it out he said it is just a puppy. It was pouring down rain so I went out picked her up brought her in and dried her off gave her some food and looked her over. I found out who owned her it was the people that lived 1/2 a block away across the wheat field ( that had not been mowed yet). I took her home I could not keep her because I had decided that I was not going to go through surgery or radiation for the cancer so would not be fair to keep her. WELL I dropped her off got almost home and went back and ask what they were going to do with her. They said that if they could not find someone that wanted her she was off to the pound. At that time they still put them down. Well I decided that I could not let that happen so I kept her and had the surgery and radiation so I guess you could say the we saved each other. Sorry it is so long but just wanted to share. She is so special!!! In this picture she was sad that we were going home from the creek.
