Thought this was comical, brain cells are mending and I remembered this yarn, do not know if its true, it is alleged to have happened down the East side of the peninsula. The two men were having a dram and a yarn in the Glen allegedly, came lunch time and hunger got the better of them so off they headed for their cars and off home. One got in and away he went, second had a job starting but eventually got under way. Bit down the road at the village hall layby he came across his mate stopped by the boys with the blue flashers so he pulled in. What the hell is going on here he asked. Suspected drink driving, none of your business so off you go Geez, that dacent man has had no more drink than me he declared.
