Thought you may find this interesting a point I raised on Twitter. Financial forecast projection for illegal boats for 2013 = $2.2 Billion Australian tax payer dollars. Over a 4 year period that would add up to $8.8 billion. Meanwhile the Government has only committed $1.0 billion over four years for the first stage of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) How can the Australian government therefore pat themselves on the back and take praise for NDIS when they are in truth investing so little in the NDIS and this is governments that claim to be responsible government,, have the nations best interest at heart?
