Thoughts about I Am Bad... POINT-OF-VIEW: I know what it looks like to walk around and interact with people. But how do you translate that to a film shot entirely through the main character’s point of view? How do you represent peripheral vision? Or being bored? Or flirting? Do you really look at someone you’re talking to? That was the fun of figuring out what this movie would look like. The goal was to communicate as much of his internal dialogue to the audience through the movement of the camera.
