Thoughts about what a wonderful world . . . Sometimes I just - TopicsExpress

Thoughts about what a wonderful world . . . Sometimes I just can’t control my impulse. When I feel doing something the urge is so strong that I can’t resist the urge. I amtalking good urges not those evil ones. The fact that the other day we were out of pasta noodles (spaghetti sticks) and the one Costco that carries it ran out of it. I went to the closest one to our place and the store doesn’t have it either. Well, the last resort either to go to San Mateo or San Francisco, and I opted the latter. I was rushing to get only that item but ended up getting other stuff. Suddenly, I saw a co-worker, a union representative I used to hear grievances when I was a Labor Relations Representative. Both of us were surprised and the good thing I did not forget his name this time, it’s one of those things, lapse of memory that I experience every now then (far from Alzheimer – LOL). Dennis made my day when he mentioned, “Joe of all the labor reps, you are the one who knew the contract and always fair in handling them.” Dennis, in fairness, you are not any different and that was the reason why we got along, we are on the same wavelength. The guy retired before me but no trace that he even aged or put on any year in his life way back then, he has the same complement and can only say: What a wonderful world . . . “ Now I got my thoughts synched to that meeting and here I am with the same wonderful thoughts to share to you . . . “We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”Jawaharlal Nehru “Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.” Voltaire “Its wonderful to climb the liquid mountains of the sky. Behind me and before me is God and I have no fears.” Helen Gary Helen Keller: Do something wonderful, people may imitate it.”Albert Schweitzer “God creates out of nothing. Wonderful you say. Yes, to be sure, but he does what is still more wonderful: he makes saints out of sinners.” Soren Kierkegaard Here are more wonderful thoughts to charm you . . . “What dream would you now like to make into reality? What joy do you now wish to experience? What beauty will you behold before this day is finished? What feeling would feel best to you right now? Breathe in the sweetness of all that is good in this bright moment. Taste the possibilities that arise from endless abundance. Though the challenges and concerns are real, so are the most magnificent of possibilities. Imagine the best of what can be, and find true delight in making it real. Let your world be wonderful today. Let your moments be filled with life and passion and purpose. Do you see how extraordinary this day can be? See it, live it, and it is.” Before I sign off, about belting the song: What A Wonderful World I see trees of green, red roses too. I see them bloom, for me and you. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world. I see skies of blue, And clouds of white. The bright blessed day, The dark sacred night. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world. The colors of the rainbow, So pretty in the sky. Are also on the faces, Of people going by, I see friends shaking hands. Saying, How do you do? Theyre really saying, I love you. I hear babies cry, I watch them grow, Theyll learn much more, Than Ill ever know. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world. Yes, I think to myself, What a wonderful world. Oh yeah. It sure is a wonderful world! Joegar
