Thoughts after the Memphis game. Our Rebels are 4-0 after a hard fought, hard hitting game. Game ball goes to the defense for being STIFLING all night long. Looks like they dont do Fins Up anymore. They are more concerned with making plays than showing off afterwards. Thats a real sign of commitment and maturity. So throw away your Fins Up gear. These guys deserve their own identity. One that isnt a marketing gimmick. Thanks to the defense, the Rebels survived four turnovers and finally pulled ahead to win by three touchdowns. (Remember that, we won by 21 points and still feel disappointed.) The offense also ran the ball more often and more successfully than they have all year. If the offense can avoid mistakes, and if the defense keeps playing with speed, power, and passion like today, the Rebels can compete with anybody in the SEC West. Next week against Bama should be a great game. Hotty Toddy !!
