Thoughts and prayers for all of you out there who have recently lost someone close to you, even those of you who recalling the anniversary of the death of someone who was close to you. When my mother died, there was no right words anyone could say to me to make it all better or easier even. With all the Im so sorry for you loss You have my condolences With symphony None of it changed the fact that I was hurting, and things were different. A year later to the exact date of my mothers death, while I was at work at a local grocery store as a cashier, I had an older woman come to my line. She saw sorrow in my eyes and said Sweetheart whats wrong? You usually always have a smile on your face. I responded with Well today is the anniversary of my mothers death, its been one year. She looked at me softly and said Hunny, its been over 20 years since I lost my mother. And believe me it still hurts at times. But, at least if nothing else, find comfort in the fact that even though it never completely goes away, over time you learn how to cope better. And that in itself, makes it a little easier for you. Hearing that, from a complete stranger, who simply shared from experience, gave me ease. So for all those of you going through it, one way or another, just know that regardless of how it feels, your not alone. For me personally, now, 8 years later, I believe theres a far greater meaning to death, and that is eternal life.
