Thoughts? (dont stone me, the white guy said it) - All in all, do we really need a holiday to celebrate this event? Considering how whitewashed the presentation of scripture and even its promoted characters are I find it foolish, not wise, to wave a flag for any of these celebrations. I have no issue with having a holiday to celebrate for the kids and maybe stimulate the economy, but Im dfntly a fan of moving away from religious overtones. I see a huge benefit in having a faith based celebration as a personal and private event. When America gets its hands on these moments it tends to be bastardized via capitalism and all core targets of the event grow dull over time. Gotta wonder how rabbits and eggs got tied into the resurrection. -Sev Statik
