Thousands of employees across Teva in Israel are contributing their time, talents and services this week in a company-wide volunteering initiative that offers diverse and meaningful opportunities to help numerous local organizations. On just the first day (Sunday), employee volunteers harvested 4.1 tons of onions and 750 lb of plums in the fields, and helped assemble 868 food packages that will be donated to help feed those in need. Additional groups helped to renovate apartments, community centers and schoolyards in areas from Northern to Southern Israel for youth, elderly citizens and lone soldiers. Volunteering activities will continue throughout the week, impacting thousands and supporting our commitment to the communities in which we live and work, together.
