Thousands of fans turned up to support British horseracing at the Newmarket Open Day yesterday afternoon, when 28 stables opened their doors to the public to showcase some of Britains best-loved equine stars. As well as the stables, Jockey Club Estates Warren Hill was packed with visitors watching horses, including The Queens Estimate, work on the historic gallops before the action moved to the Rowley Mile racecourse. Taking place for the third year running, the Betfair-sponsored event was once again a huge success, raising money for racing charities, including Racing Welfare. ©hoycubedphotography
