Threats, Scaremongering and Blackmail Yet another Westminster - TopicsExpress

Threats, Scaremongering and Blackmail Yet another Westminster Man in Scotland and yet another Scottish Unionist Puppet of London holding a gun to the heads of the already suffering workers of the Govan and Scotstoun shipyards. The new Scottish Secretary, Alistair Carmichael joins the list of Scottish Unionist politicians such as Ian Davidson, Johan Lamont, Anas Sanwar, Alistair Darling and Willie Rennie, to name but a few, who are determined to Threaten, Scare and now Blackmail the entire population of Scotland into rejecting Scottish Independence or else. This latest debacle is a prime example of how low they are prepared to go in order to maintain the Status Quo and their lucrative lifestyles under Westminster rule. They are all walking about with a smirk on their faces and an extra spring in their step because they are convinced their latest threat has dealt a massive blow to the Yes Campaign. They did not quite manage it with Grangemouth but they did manage to exploit the devastating job losses at Govan for their own political agenda. The Scottish Government is determined to limit the damage as much as possible and is going about that aim in a quiet and responsible manner just as the First Minister Alex Salmond did during the Grangemouth Crisis. Meanwhile the Scottish Unionist politicians such as Ian Davidson, the labour Westminster MP whos constituency covers Govan is conspiring with his Masters in London to make sure that if Scotland does vote Yes Westminster will implement heavy job losses in Scotland. Just consider the unbelievable and absurd situation of a Scottish Labour MP conspiring with a Conservative Government in London to make sure that if the people of Scotland exercise their democratic right and vote Yes to Scottish Independence his own constituents in Govan and other Scottish workers will lose their jobs. This is because that Scottish Labour MP insisted that a Break Clause was put in place which would allow that Westminster Government to withdraw a vital contract securing those Govan jobs. The fact that 800 Scottish workers have already lost their jobs does not seem to bother that Labour MP or the new Scottish Secretary one little bit. They seem to be saying this is what you get for nothing so you know what you will get for something or, should we say, you know what you will get if you vote Yes. The fact Scottish Unionists are threatening Scotland is not the only issue. Unfortunately, the Scottish Secretary is promising the poor ship workers in Portsmouth that if Scotland does vote Yes in the referendum then Portsmouth will be in an ideal position to get a reprieve and be awarded the crucial contract for the Type 26 Frigates. Again this is because the contract would be taken away from Scotland in the event of a Yes vote. Now I for one would assume that those poor shipbuilders in Portsmouth must now be hoping that Scotland does vote Yes so they can get their jobs back. In addition to this there is growing resentment throughout England as they see this as yet another example of them suffering because Westminster is subsidising those bloody Scots, Again. The 800 shipbuilders in Scotland and the rest of the Scottish population know by now that we are not subsidised but are actually paying more than our fare share. However, that is not the message the good people of England are being told by Unionists from North and South of the border. Like I said before they are walking about with a smirk on their faces and a spring in their step because they really do believe they have dealt a major blow to the Yes Campaign. More importantly, they are convinced the people of Scotland will also cow down under these threats and do as we are told. Is it not better to die on your feet than live on your knees. Chic Macgregor
