Three academic deans from Black Hawk College ripped down material - TopicsExpress

Three academic deans from Black Hawk College ripped down material displayed on the outside office walls of former Chieftain newspaper adviser, Professor Erskine Carter. They marched up as a collective unit and, together, ripped newspaper articles and personal images of family and friends from the wall beside Carters door. No reports of any complaints about the material by faculty on the floor were ever reported. Carter was never notified that such an action would be taken. No other faculty members who retired have had material removed from their doors or walls. Fairly obviously, this is an act of retaliation initiated by administration members bent on getting even. I remind readers that none of award-winning Dual Credit articles would have been written had the College simply followed State laws governing the administration of Dual Credit. If the administrators had nothing to hide, they would not have done this sort of thing. I can only assume that the deans and their superiors must have been deeply traumatized by the content of the student reporters articles. This is why we have a Union at our school.
