Three books that I enjoyed reading after my final exam: End of history discusses about the evolvement of all countries towards democracy and argues that democracy and free markets had proved victorious over all competing system such as feudalism, monarchism, communism, fascism and many other ism. Huntington, Fukuyama’s teacher, argues that while the epoch of ideology had ended; however, the axis of conflict in the future will be cultural and religious lines or “The West against the Rest.” Finally, Attali, advisory to the French president, discusses about planetary government and anticipates how the world would be like in mid-twenty first century. Though their predictions may come wrong as the history is baroque; however, Fukuyama, Huntington and Attali are all convince their readers that they are right. These books are highly recommended for students of politics and international relations and other political oriented readers.
