Three days of work only to find out ITS NOT GONNA WORK NO MATTER WHAT BECAUSE THE SIGNAL CAPTURE WASNT CLEAN IN THE FIRST PLACE !!!! EQ-ing, noise reduction,fades - nothing worked.....blah....Adding up all those takes only built-up more of that background noise and created a whosh sound every time backvocals entered the sceen. I am really upset. I have to re-record my singers all over again....I never had this experience before and obviously this time I am having it all to up to my throat - so much experience and all negative ! All it taught me was how NOT TO DO IT. Guess what, it would have worked for a lead singer just fine...However,adding up 23 vocal lines just accumulated too much crap...Perhaps it could have been easier to record a real choir instead of recording each vocalist separately... Indeed, its great to have all that experience,but NOT 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE FINAL CD IS DUE!!! damn...
