Three former NYC Mayor’s Cup Baseball All-Stars were recently selected in the MLB Entry Draft including 2013 MVP Joshua Palacios (HS of Telecommunications), who was picked in the 31st round by the Cincinnati Reds; James Norwood (All Hallows HS, 2011), who was picked in the seventh round by the Chicago Cubs; and Nestor Bautista (George Washington HS, 2010), who was picked in the 32nd round by the Miami Marlins! Come to our 2014 NYC Mayor’s Cup Baseball All-Star Game on Friday at MCU Park and you could catch a glimpse some players who could be playing in the big leagues someday!
