Three good friends: L to R ~ Katherine Kitty Jones Kerns parents Mr. & Mrs. Clarence Jones lived on High Street down a little across from the fire department. Shirley Powers (dont have married name) parents Mr. & Mrs. Lloyd Powers (Lloyd played major league baseball for the Athletics - also later owned the sandwich shop/ pool room on Main St.) lived a few doors up from the fire department on High Street. My sister Charlotte Brannon Bartles parents Mr. & Mrs. Chester Brannon lived on Main Street across from the Methodist Church. I was struck by the clothes they wore. Guessing photo taken about 1949/50. Both of Charlottes friends are still living.
