Three men charged after brawl – Gladesville Three men will face court after a man was injured in a brawl at Gladesville last night. About 10.20pm (Friday 18 April 2014), a group of friends in the car park of a hotel on Victoria Road were involved in an altercation with another group of friends. Police have been told members of each group started pushing and punching each other. A 22-year-old man allegedly walked away and broke off a pole from a nearby fence before returning to the scene. Witnesses to the brawl contacted police from Ryde Local Area Command, who attended the car park and arrested three men, aged 21, 22, and 25. The trio were taken to Ryde Police Station and charged with affray. All three have been served Court Attendance Notices to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 28 May 2014. A man sustained a small laceration to his head and was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics.
