When I first heard the story, I was hoping that the officer was brought to justice ( if it were true that Brown truly was running away from him with his hands up). However, that was clearly not the case as recently proven. If the officer feels his or her life is in danger in the moment, we need to stand by his or her right to use deadly force. This man robbed a store, beat up an employee, and tried to get an officers gun by leaning into the window of his patrol car. Those are the facts now.
