Three weeks in Hershey. One day home. And then on the road again....This time 5 hours from home for a regional soccer tournament. ...another couple of days away from home. ...this time with Talia. I sent her earlier on Friday with another family so I could take Damon to a doctors appointment. During the afternoon, I tried to catch up on 3 weeks worth of laundry, 3 weeks worth of mom not being home much to clean the house, and to pack for the weekend, but not much got done .... and I ended up not packing anything but the bag I had in Hershey ....not appropriate soccer tournament clothing in warm weather, but oh well. I made it to Slippery Rock around 10 pm, in time to sleep. I had called in all my reinforcements to help with this weekend so I could be with Tali and relax knowing Damons every need was met. I could never have managed without all of them and am more grateful than you will ever know that I have such wonderful unselfish people in my life on whom I can totally rely and trust. They took over, they tag- teamed, they did more than what was asked and they did it well. Thank you Laura Reese Slocum, Kim Bailey Wood, Karen Downs, and Demetra Szatkowski for being my village. As Damon says, Whew! Thank God for you! Soccer ended this morning and were back home for a while. Hopefully a long while.
