Three years ago I was diagnosed with lupus and a blood condition called cyclical neutropenia. At that time, my best friend said to me, Dana, either it will define you, or you will define it. I chose to define it the only way I know...by claiming HEALING in the name of Jesus, and to stand on His promise that through His stripes I am healed. I believe to be walking in my healing, and while most days I am RUNNING in it, other days I am on my back. I am blessed by this, because it makes me rely on HIS STRENGTH, and not my own. My weakness through this physical discipline humbles me, and reminds me that I am NOTHING without Jesus Christ. As Paul said in Hebrews 12:12, All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. Lord, please use these words to encourage someone who is struggling with chronic or terminal illness today. Turn sorrow into JOY, yielding PEACE as a fruit of RIGHTEOUSNESS, as we rely on YOUR strength and not our own, O God!!!! Thank You Jesus, that you ARE Jehovah Rapha, the GOD WHO HEALS. I love You, LORD!!!!!
