Three years ago our son George started peeing through nappies in an hour and drinking a ridiculous amount of milk and still asking for more. He lost 30% of his body weight, was projectile vomiting and having trouble breathing before we thought to take him to the doctors. All this took only two months. We didnt know the symptoms of type 1 diabetes and it almost cost our son his life. I would hate for anyone elses child to develop this condition but please know the symptoms and signs so as not to cut it as find as we did. No one wants to be told to prepare that your child may not make it through. Xx
