Three years ago today I started here at Line 6. I was excited, unsure, and new to the MI industry for all practical purposes. The short story is that its been really great. I dont know if Ive had a truly bad day since I began. There have been times where Ive never felt smarter and times where Ive never felt so dumb, but it all evens out. Heres what affects me the most. This really seems like the job that Id been training for since I got out of high school. Every hobby, obsession, job, failed venture, and successful venture taught me the skills that I use daily. Its a very specific and wide-ranging skill set, and I seemed to learn exactly what was needed and not much else. Om. So, Im happy. Life is good. Work is not work, but a pursuit to make better music tools. I get to build things that people like me use to do cool shit, and Im proud of what Im doing. Plus, they seem to like me here. Cheers everyone!
