Through the mental stimulus of pondering scripture it can help us focus and create opportunities for us to knock at the Lords door.... Think of Joseph Smith Nephi or Jesus on the mountaintop enough in the woods or president Kimball spending many long hours in the Upper Room of the temple supplicating the Lord for guidance. When doctorine and covenants 76 was given to Joseph Smith and sydney being in the spirit by the power of the Spirit our eyes were opened and our understanding enlightened so as to see and understand the things of God. Joseph Smiths life was entirely marked by a spirit of inquiry of pondering deeply in reflecting on matters of cosmic depth... (deep love it);)! I believe this is why God chose this boy to lead the restoration because God knew Joseph Smith wanted certain conclusions and would not be satisfied with less he wasnt interested in settling the with maybes or probablys no he wanted a full enlughtenment.... yes joesph inquried to understand. ... I can relate joseph I too have a pondering spirit.♡♡♡.
