Throughout his tenure Sata Never allowed Guy Scot to act, whether constitution bleach was the reason we will not know. In August he fired Wynter Kabimba and dropped him as party SG. This was after it was evident that Kabimba was positioning himself. Kabimba was ok until he started sidelining other PF members and started creating what people suspect to be parallel structures. Rumours were also that he leaked the document to the post that was written for the eyes of the president only. When Sata left for London he made sure he recalled Lungu who was in Angola to come and receive the instruments of power. This was also the first time that the presidents office informed the nation that he was going for medical checkups.Reports emerging are that the president was quiet unwell and was having problems eating. The president delayed his trip just to ensure Edgar Lungu got the instruments of power(why?). Edgar Lungu has acted more than any other and at the time of the presidents death he was party SG, Minister Home affairs, Minister Defence, Chairman Disciplinary committee. The question is why did the president appoint him to all these positions? Why did the president also leave his nephew MiLes Sampa at the level of deputy minister when youngmen like Harry Kalaba were made full cabinet ministers? Sampa is also on record has being bashed my Muhabi Lungu a thing that he attributed to lack of preparation. We never saw Sata loosing any debate especially things that involved his office. Our conclusion is that Sampa needs more time. He will emerge even stronger but now a mentor is what he requires. History shows us that Micheal was a political genius and apart from that he knew how to unite people. It is through experience that he knew that only Edgar was the right person to leave in charge. Edgar is the only top leader that has not taken any strong position in PF. Yesterday as he stood to give his speech, the whole stadium burst into cheers, a clear sign of what people wanted. At this point we can only conclude that Edgar was anointed by the president Himself and we can only honour what our great departed leader wished for. Our tradition is that we honour the last acts of a dead man. The same spirit that was upon Micheal is now upon Edgar. We will go with choosing a leader via central committee. This will save money and time. PF is not for sale to the highest bidder, neither is it for those who are having difficulties paying taxes.
