Throughout the last growing season we have received many encouraging notes of thanks and appreciation from incredibly supportive customers. But the greatest inspiration of all comes from the numerous thankful students who I’ve been privileged to show around our farm. Id like to say thank-you to all the children who’ve expressed such interest in growing food, caring for animals, caring for land and supporting local farmers. I know kids care. For this reason I’ll devote every ounce of energy to demonstrate that sustainable, local food production is the only way for our future generations to lead healthy lives, heal our broken planet and build strong, vibrant and resilient communities.
