Throwback Thursday...Kasteel Goorhof, Belgium May 2012...the place was crap but more notable for the fact when walking along the road outside the place my mate decided instead of using the bridge he would cut through the ditch and up the bank, big mistake....as he went down the slope he lost his footing and slipped, and what we took to be a nice carpet of leaves along the bottom rippled as his foot touched it...shit the leaves were covering some deep water!! So he was trapped there on his side scared to move in case he slipped down more into the water, and I ended up on my stomach holding a piece of blue twine out to him Id found, and I pulled him out using that....not often Ive had to rescue people!
