#ThrowbackThursday: Poster for the 1957 film The Bridge On The River Kwai, directed by David Lean - and how the bridge looks today. The bridge, just north of Kanchanaburi, was part of the so-called “Death Railway” built from Thailand to Myanmar (Burma) during WW2 by Japanese POWs. Today you can cross the bridge by train or on foot and visit the nearby museum and the Don-Rak War Cemetery. Have you been to see the bridge?
