#ThrowbackThursday to Special Olympics South Carolina athlete Rion Holcombe receiving the letter of his dreams and a spot in Clemson Universitys freshman class. Rewind to twenty years ago, and you would not have seen a student like Rion roaming a college campus, participating in engaging class discussions or cheering on a school football team. But today, more than 200 universities across the country offer some kind of program for students with Intellectual Disabilities. Luckily Rions parents caught this priceless and emotional moment for Rion on video. After being moved by this video, CBS news conducted a special interview with this college-bound student.
