Thursday 1 May 2014 saw the passing out parade of newest Greater Manchester Police Volunteer Cadets. Two groups, one from Stockport and the other from Wythenshawe paraded before the Force’s Chief Constable, Sir Peter Fahy and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Jim Battle. The event took place beneath Concorde at Manchester Airport Visitor Park. In 2012, Sir Peter Fahy pledged to create a new Volunteer Police Cadet Scheme for young people in the region. https://flickr/photos/gmpolice1/sets/72157644129355440/
