Thursday 30.01.14 MUA IS DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR A female is one of two Deputy Administrators leading the Milne Bay Provincial Government. Sharon Mua won the post of Deputy Administrator Corporate and District Services when the position was advertised last year. Provincial Administrator Michael Kape made the revelation today when we broached him about acting appointments. He says Mua had been with the Provincial Planning Division for over 10years and has a great rapport for the same in the southern region, she had been acting Provincial Planner before the new appointment. The other of Deputy Administrator Technical and Support Services will go up again this year, Kape says due to a lack if suitable candidates applying. Meantime, Lyndsay Alesana has been appointed District Administrator Alotau District after acting on the position whole of last year. Hayden Abraham has been reappointed District Administrator Samarai-Murua, he was replaced last year by Ben Bagita who had been acting on the position. Kiriwina-Goodenough and Esaala also experienced instances of having no suitable applicants and these will again be advertised sometime this year. For the moment, Henry Larry is acting District Administrator Esaala while Labui Bua is acting DA Kiriwina-Goodenough.
