Thursday, 6th November. GOD IS A FINISHER Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:6 KJV) Sometimes I think many people just developed a very negative habit of worrying about virtually everything. When they had a life threatening sickness they cried to God and got healed, then they worried and cried over the fact that they were not married, then God blessed them with a great spouse, then they became worried over the stability of their spouse, and God did that. One would think that all these blessings should stabilize anyone in God. But, no! The worry continues again as though God never did anything for them in times past. What they fail to understand is that the same God who did one is the same who will do the other. What God did in this situation, He is able to do in any other situation. Why? He is God and He does not start what He has not finished. The matter concerning you had been finished a long time ago. You have just been going through the processes. The question is, who started it? If your heart tells you it is God who started it, then relax in praise, worship and thanksgiving to Him because He will finish it. No father wants his son going out there uncared for or abandoned. The next question everyone will ask will be, who is his father? You know what? God has a reputation to protect. So even if it is not for your sake, it will be for His Names sake. Congratulations, before this year is over you will see the mighty hand of God at work on your behalf in Jesus Name. Assignment. i. Throw your hands to the heavens and surrender all your worries to God right now. ii. Declare your trust and reliance on Him. iii. Thank Him profusely for His plans for your life, thank Him for what He has already done in your life, whether you can see it or not. Prayer. -Lord I trust you, I trust you, and I trust you totally and absolutely. Forgive any trace of doubt or distrust left in my heart in Jesus Name. -Thank You for the work you have already finished in my life in Jesus Name.
