Thursday, I did some work on Mom’s little storage room just off from her den. While I was in there I found a VHS tape made in 1991 by her and Dad. It had Beverly playing her mandolin and Jerry playing his guitar. They played several songs together. Later it had me playing the piano with them. Then, we had a songfest with Dad, Beverly, Wanda and I. I was playing Dad’s keyboard. Dad filmed Mom putting flowers in the two planters at the front of the drive. She filmed her Easter arrangement in the house, which seemed to take forever. Then, she filmed some of her flowers and the dogwood trees. But, the funniest part of the whole thing was what came last. Jeremy was pretending to be Dick Tracy. He starts out in plain clothes and a pistol. He was acting like he was being shot at and was dodging bullets. Next scene, he had donned a trench coat, a hat and a tommy gun. He started attacking some imaginary foe again. It was an exceptional gun. It never ran out of bullets. He would pretend to be hit and fall down. But, he would miraculously get up and start shooting again.
