Thursday brought yet more adventures in NYC. It was a day to give my very gracious hosts a break from frequenting vegan only establishments! We booked in to ABC Cocina for a light lunch. Beautiful decor, fresh wild flowers on the tables and a buzzing atmosphere. (Where isnt buzzy in New York I suppose) If sweetgreen was to be my kitchen, abc cocina would be my dining room. Loved it. Vegan options or variations were no problem at all. All ingredients are in season and as locally sourced as possible. I opted for a sweet pea guacamole with warm crunchy tortillas. The most amazing guacamole I have ever tasted! followed by a mouth watering tomato and peach gazpacho with chillies and basil. Just superb. I could have happily spent the afternoon here people watching and sampling more yummy eats but New York was calling to be explored so off we trotted. ❤️ Louise abchome/eat/abc-cocina/
