Thursday evening rant: I love H.P. Lovecraft, many know this. I have seen nearly all Lovecraft movies and I cant understand why exactly no one has ever been able to come up with a decent filming budget to seriously represent these extraordinary stories. It pisses me off when people who claim to be so passionate for film and these authors who they try to bring to life fall short of what that expectation should be. So its great they take creative liberties with the art itself but have some respect for the imagery that is described in flawless detail from the book. I know others have to feel the same way I do. Ill even help start a bloody Kickstarter or Indiegogo campain if others who would love to see Lovecraft novel properly made. There it is…end of rant.
