Thursday isn’t just the anniversary of 9/11, it’s the anniversary of the deadly terrorist attack in Benghazi. And as much as some people wish it were settled, it’s not. Five commandos who were hired by the CIA as security contractors in Libya have written a new book called “13 Hours.” They claim they were ready within minutes to launch a rescue mission, but were ordered to stand down. The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee argued that Congress never found evidence of that. Forgive my skepticism, but one thing we’ve seen repeatedly from the current Administration is that just because Congress isn’t able to find evidence doesn’t mean there never was any. And by the way, isn’t the testimony of five eye witnesses considered “evidence”?
