Using ancient Tibetan techniques, sand artist Katie Jo Suddaby delicately deposits thousands of tiny grains of sand to create vibrant, colorful works of art called mandalas. After days of work, the sand drawing is brushed away to teach impermanence. Katie Jo is one of only a handful of Western artists trained in this rigorous technique.
