Thursday our ambassador raptors visited an environmental science class at Allegheny College. Professor Haywood shared It really is so valuable for them (the students) to connect much of the abstract material weve discussed all semester to a living being. A student wrote afterward Actually seeing the different raptors up close and personal and learning about rehabilitation efforts was an incredible experience. Thank you for making this possible. The birds, educators and students all had a wonderful time. (Note, all the raptor handlers are trained volunteers.)
