#ThursdayMorningBlessings How often do you brag about yourself? Brag about the things you have accomplished, amount of money you have, car you drive, house you live in? How often do you put yourself out as being better than others because they have yet to accomplish YOUR level of success? No one person is better than the next. You see what God has given can just as easily be taken away. He does this to humble us, to end the boastful, bragging and conceited ways of the mind. Uplift your fellow brothers and sisters. Share your knowledge of success with them. Humble yourself by displaying a peaceful mind and a tongue of restraint. "But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people." - 2 Timothy 3:1-5
