Thursdays tip of the day! Objections, Objections, we all get them! Those negative Nellys that always have something to say! It doesnt work! Thats just water weight! What a joke! Thats a pyramid scheme! Im broke! Here are some responses I think you will enjoy and be able to use when you get these responses! First and foremost, dont listen to the negativity from others! In the beginning of my business I would get so defensive when someone objected! I would go into attack mode and get all worked up! The only thing this did was make me look silly and stoop to their level! It also made me look guilty because when people get defensive its usually because they believe something is true! So lesson #1 is do not get defensive!! Now there are a couple ways to deal with negative people! The first is completely ignore them and walk away! Dont waste one second of your precious time trying to explain yourself, the company, or products! If you know that the person is just being difficult and nasty the best thing you can do is not even dignify it with a response! Your letting them win by doing that and I can promise you nothing you can say is going to change their mind....period! This will only end up making you question yourself and this opportunity! Dont even let people like that in your head! But, if the person is sincere in their thoughts and is just not knowledgeable then that is a different story! In this case it is okay to speak up and explain! Here are some tips on answering those sincere people with real objections! First off...RELATE! Say things like I completely understand where your coming from or I thought that very same thing until it was explained to me! This approach is awesome because your not getting defensive in any way and they are more likely to listen because your agreeing with their thoughts! Your not calling them stupid or making them feel inferior! Here is an example: Your out blitzing and give the card to your waitress! She takes it and she seems interested and then she says is this one of those pyramid things? My mom did one of these once and she said you cant make any money! To which your response would be Oh my gosh I thought the exact same thing when I was first approached with this! In fact I told the girl that gave me the coupon I wasnt interested in her scam! But then I did some research and found out that pyramid schemes are illegal in America and throughout most of the world. My company has been around for 14 years and has been in several reputable magazines and in the Oscars and Emmys for the last few years......Im pretty sure the DSA (direct selling organization) which is run by the US Government would have shut us down if that were the case! Do you see how I agreed and even addressed that I believed this was a scam myself!? This always works! There are several responses to the pyramid scheme objection .....I could write a book just on those but the one I have above works for me! Is this one if those water wraps? Will this come back? These two objections are easy to address! Again agree and then explain...actually it isnt one of those water wraps. I can understand why you would think that because I thought that it was too when I first heard about it! Its pretty common for people to think that because every other wrap out there is water weight but ours is a site specific cloth that you can put anywhere from the neck down and you do not want to sweat at all when you have it on. You also have to drink water in order to make it work! Its the only one of its kind on the planet and it Works for 72hrs. Whatever results you have by that third day will last atleast 3 to 6 months! Its just like you dieted and exercised the results away! This response has always worked for me! So how does it actually work? What is in it that makes it work? My response is ...well, Im not a doctor and to be honest how it works its a secret! We dont want anyone else getting their hands on the formula! What I can tell you is that its all natural plants, its safe, anyone can wrap, and over the last four years every time I put it on someone they see results! This response is good enough for 99.9% of the people you will approach, but once in a blue moon you will run into very green personality that wants tio know exact ins and outs! In that case I use the same response above and then add that I can get them an ingredient list or I hand them a box to look at the ingredients! If Im pout and about blitzing and Im in a hurry sometimes my response after being asked how it works is..It works great! Why dont you let me wrap you so you can see for yourself!
