Tick Tock - Memphis - Tick Tock When these highly qualified and caring police department and fire department employees have been driven out of Memphis, who will we be able to count on to take on their responsibilities. If we are to have a thriving city we must have police officers that know more than just know when and how to arrest someone. If our city is going to grow, then we are going to need firefighters who know more than just how to keep a building from burning. It is my humble opinion that these type of unqualified people who will only know about arresting people and the ones who will only know how to spray water on a fire, will bring this city to its knees. They will cause people and business to move and no other business will be willing to move into this once great city. Its going to take having qualified employees who have a desire to make our community a better place to live and are willing to make it grow. These police officers and firefighters that we have how, are willing to help our city thrive, and we are going to have to have these highly quilted men and women working for this city. Men and women who not only want their city to be a better place, but who also want to make sure this city is a better place for the children who live here. Our citizens need to know that as these highly qualified men and women leave the city, if they can even be replaced at all by a city that refuses to give its workers a good benefits package, an acceptable pension and a good insurance plan, then they will only be able to hire those who we have heard about all of our lives, those who dont care about anything but themselves.
