Tidbits from the Tabernacle: Gen. 22:13 G-d provided a ram caught in a thicket of thorns to replace Isaac Ex. 3:2 An angel of G-d appeared to Moses in a burning bush Matt. 27:29 Thorn branches were woven into a crown for Yeshua just before His crucifixion What is significant about these three verses? The thicket, the bush and the crown were of acacia wood which contained thick thorns. Acacia wood is the colour of blood and the thorns represent sin which Yeshua bore for all of us. Also, the ark is made of acacia wood. The wood is overlayed with gold which covers our sin. Gold represents the deity of Messish. There is such a plethora of symbolism in the tabernacle! What a marvelous G-d we have to leave us such a legacy!
