Tigo partners with The Guardian Limited to launch News SMS Service Dar es Salaam, 20th June 2013 - Tigo Tanzania in collaboration with The Guardian Limited have together launched a ‘News SMS service’, which aims at providing Tigo’s valuable customers with news accessible from wherever they are in the country. The Service will also allow The Subscriber to Un-subscribe to the service anytime they wishwithout any difficulties and provide a MSAADA keyword for help on various Frequent Ask Questions for customers to send queries while enjoying/experiencing the service. In order to subscribe to these services one needs to send the KeywordGUARDIAN or NIPASHE to 15501. Once subscribed the subscriber will receive news headlines from the Keyword they have subscribed daily and will be charged TSH 99/- per day.
