Tim Waters, I have been in denial of what has happened. I have thought and thought about pretty much nothing but you all day. All the conversations we have had, almost everyday. You were my very first customer, you told me you drank Bud Select and promptly informed me that I should carry that beer specifically for you. I shook your hand and promised you I would. I always call you the Sullys spokesman. Anytime a new customer would set near you at YOUR seat at the bar you would always spark up a conversation with them and begin to sell them almost everything on the menu. The Kilrain, thats my burger, or the BBC ,you would say with such passion. Bud Select I can hear you say, Hampton carries them just for me. Then you would introduce them to me. You would look the guy or lady in the eye and say, Welcome to Sullys, Welcome Home. I know how much you love Haley, Curtis, Riley and Roscoe and how proud you are of them for what they have and will accomplish together, and I know they love you too. You know that you and me are pretty tough guys and I know you always have had my back. No one is gonna start any shit in Sullys, you would say. Buddy, my heart is broken. I cant stop all these emotions Im having. Im crying like a little girl. Thank you for being my friend. Thank you for all the times that you helped me with so many things, big and small. Like the Sunday that we put up the fence in the rain. You, me, Tracy and Zack. We were crazy! No, we werent. We were friends helping put up fence at YOUR bar. I will never forget how proud we were that day. I wanted to write you a letter and share my respect for you with all of our friends and family at Sullys. It will not be the same....
