Farm and Security Fencing Treatment: We treat our timber by impregnating or pressurizing the wood with the required chemical formulations. Impregnation/pressure treatment is a process that forces chemical preservatives into the wood. Wood is placed inside a closed cylinder then vercuum and pressure are applied to force the preservative into the wood. The wood fibre is left toxic to invading organism and guard against warping, decay, rot, insect and fungi attack. Chemical: In Timber treat, we make use of CCA (Tanalith C). This is one of the most recognized chemical used for preserving timber product world wide. We treat timber to retention level from 0.25 pcf – 0.65 pcf depending on the usage. For wood not in contact with soil, the pcf is 0.10 – 0.2.5 For wood contact with soil/harsh weather and salt water is 0.21 – 0.65. Wood Seasoning Kiln Kiln drying of lumber/other roofing logs is the most effective and economical method available today. The rate of drying can be carefully controlled and defect reduced to the minimum. Kiln reduces the length of drying time and predictable and customer’s specification.
