Time check 04:56am.............. I hear cries for help in Luganda, woowe, banange Munyambe omusajja anzita loosely translated as please help me, the man is killing me.....being wide awake(dont ask me why for its irrelevant to this story) I hastily got up and run for the nearest leash and dog and made out of the gate, the cries growing louder just in time to see a naked woman(yes stark naked) in full flight, behind her a boxer clad man in pursuit. At that moment I thought Rapist, the woman was so relieved to see me that she disregarded her nakedness and the now frantically barking dog and run to us. Sebo nyamba, she wept, omusajja ayagala kunzita(sir help me, the man wants to kill me).....deep inside I thought to myself, can that thing kill anyone, I mean I didnt see him carry any weapon except that thing. What is the matter here? I implored her, by then the whole neighborhood had come out to see what was going on. My Dog barking at the man, Eve of Eden standing behind me in fear and me, not knowing what to make of it. It turned out that Taata Allani(the half naked man), had found out that Maama Allani(the naked woman) had been lying to him that their 2 year old (Allani), was his Biological son. The now attentive neighbours jeered in unison, they were all in agreement that that wasnt really news worth anybodys while in this era......I mean, it happens everywhere and life goes on. What was really perplexing is, How did Taata Allani find out at Four Thirty something in the morning ? Did the DNA results finally get to him by SMS at that ungodly hour ?(you know network problems) Apparently it wasnt so, Maama Allani had been talking in her sleep and well, she let it slip. Really, who sleep-talks at 4 in the morning ?
