Time for a break I have been cleaning all day.... As a foster parent our house has to be inspected once a year or so.. also known as a walk through....I dont know about other countries but our children services does a good job...Foster parents often get a bad rap... but in Guernsey co. foster parents have trainings to go to, inspections, must know first aid and C.P.R. Monthly reports filled out every month one for each child in your home...6 pages plus(depends on the child) Oh and lets not forget all the rules...And the monthly visits from caseworkers... We have been a foster family for over 20 years.... my only regret is that we didnt start doing it sooner....Fostering is a hard job but so many rewards...and we have made some great loving friends. I could go on but better stop... If you want to hear more call me...
