Time for change. Spending time in Dublin with some great musicians has brought me to a realisation. For too long i have become complacent in my music. I suppose listening to so many bands regurgitating DC and playing the same old riffs over and over again have left me feeling disillusioned and unchallenged. Time to get back to the beginning and find what it was in music that captivated me so much. I crave originality and delight in experimentation, these in recent times have been lost. Thanks to good friends i have rediscovered the hunger and the keys to expression. I suppose the greatest lesson was said best by a member of my current band, "Whatever you did in previous bands would you please not do it in this one". Ultimately he freed me from monotony and predictability. A message to any musician, take a step back and look at what your doing and ask yourself why am i doing it. You might be suprised
