Time for me to turn in early for once. Personally, I have gone through many times of desperate loneliness. At least once a day, I go through a period of anxiety, or slight depression. I am oversensitive, and a bit clingy at times, all because I have placed my trust in humans for too long. I have allowed my heart to rest in the hands of people who did not know how valuable it truly was. I felt that nothing else but trusting and loving the people I thought were closest to me would make me feel loved. However, we will always be let down by people. We are imperfect, and unworthy of being anyones only source of happiness. This is why we must find our joy in the Lord. God will never let us down, and never let us go. He is Jehovah Shammah; the One who is with us everywhere, at all times; our Omnipresent God. He will never leave our side. He is our fortress, our shield, our strong tower. Any time we feel alone, any time we feel left behind by everyone we trusted with our lives, we need to remember; our Lord is just one prayer away. †
